Minister of Culture Marat Markov took part in a roundtable discussion on "The National Library of Belarus: Activities for the Sake of Creativity and Innovation"
The event took place at the National Library of Belarus and was timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the library's new building.
Before the start of the meeting, a tour of the building was organized for the guests of the event. The honorary guests included deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, led by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeenko, and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Marat Markov.
As part of the event, awards were presented to employees of the National Library of Belarus. Igor Sergeenko and Marat Markov presented letters of gratitude and honorary certificates to the staff for their many years of conscientious work and contribution to the development of the library.
